DURACLEAN MASTER CLEANERS has cleaned practically all types of rugs.  These items require much more care and attention than ordinary wall to wall carpeting. Rugs come in many different patterns,colors,sizes and styles. Some rugs because of the major fibers used in their construction are not suitable for foot traffic. Most wool rugs are subject to insect,foot traffic,soiling and pet abuse. Rugs because of their construction can hold substantial amounts of sand and grit which cut the base fibers of the rug and shorten its life.Unless proper removal of these substances is regularly performed, the life of the rug will be greatly shortened.

Your investment in these furnishings is best protected by frequent vacuuming to remove sands and soils which damage the fibers used in their construction. The longer spills are left in rugs the more permanent the damage will be. A normal cleaning cycle for your rugs depending on their use would be every 18 months or 2 years. Proper cleaning and care of your Oriental and specialty rugs will prolong their lives, as well as bring out the richness of color and softness of fiber.

Our Rug cleaning procedures:

1. Visual inspection of rug.(soiling,spills,insect and wear damage)

2. Testing of dyes in rug.(some dyes are not stable and can bleed into one another if not handled properly.)

3. Dry soil and sand removal from rug.(sand is like sharp glass on the base of rug fibers. It can literally make your rug go bald.)Our harmonic vibration technique guarantees maximum soil,grit and sand removal from the body of your rug.

4. Application of proper soil releasers for individual rug fiber types.

5. Extraction cleaning after proper bathing with proper ph cleaning and deodorizing solutions.

6. Drying of rug in controlled humidity conditions.

7. We Recommend: Fabric treatment and other treatments (moth spraying,fringes etc.) as required by the individual rug. Regular cleaning can disturb the life cycle of wool consuming insects.

8. Cleaning time required normally 3 to 8 days. Conditions of the rug and additional services requested may require a longer duration for proper cleaning,handling,drying and delivery of your rug.
